Chateau Grey Court Cupboard
I used Annie Sloan Chateau Grey chalk paint and a medium amount of distressing to give this solid oak Court Cupboard an authentic shabby chic finish which would look amazing in any vintage home or farmhouse. This piece was sold to a lovely lady in Essex who has left us a lovely review on Facebook.
Old Ochre Edwardian Dressing Table
Oh how I wanted to keep this dressing table!! I absolutely love this piece and when I’d finished I really wanted to put it in my bedroom but it was too wide. The stunning dressing table, drawer pieces and mirror were all carefully sanded and painted with Annie Sloan Old Ochre chalk paint, distressed, and then waxed a number of times to give a fantastic smooth finish. This was purchased by another lovely customer and we delivered it to their home in Swindon in April.
Old White Old Charm Welsh Dresser
We worked on this stunning Old Charm 6ft wide dresser in December 2014 and, unusually, it included an integrated drinks cabinet hidden within the cupboards. This was a very popular piece which we finished in Annie Sloan Old White, with very light distressing and then thorough waxing. The chunky solid oak work surface of the base unit was sanded in stages and then oiled a number of times to give a rich, wipe-free oak finish. This now takes pride of place in a conservatory in Holland Park, London.
Old White Solid Pine Farmhouse Dining Table & 6 Chairs
Last summer was a summer of dining tables for us!! We were inundated with enquires for dining tables and chairs and this was one of our favourites. We Sanded the entire table and chairs and then painted all but the table top in Annie Sloan Old White chalk paint and then waxed without distressing. The table top was sanded in stages right up to the finest sandpaper available and then treated with a series of coats of Danish Oil. This was collected by great customers from Liverpool.
Aubusson solid oak Sideboard
Annie Sloan Aubusson solid oak sideboard – this time I waxed the stripped top surface which gives a slightly brighter finish. Looks great in a modern and contemporary setting
Old Violet Court Cupboard
Court cupboard painted in Annie Sloan Old Violet – a really striking little unit with beautiful carved and turned features. Court Cupboards are a more unique take on the sideboard/dresser and are a compact way of providing lots of storage.
Duck Egg solid oak Dresser
Annie Sloan Duck Egg solid oak dresser – this is a lovely petite dresser and was very popular when it went up for sale. The panelling looked great with the Duck Egg and I only gave it minimal distressing.
Annie Sloan Aubusson Court Cupboard
Court Cupboard painted in Annie Sloan Aubusson chalk paint with dark wax – this colour really suits the piece and stands out beautifully. Aubusson really is a dramatic colour and looks quite different depending on your angle of sight.
